She appeared in a commercial at the age of two and began taking acting classes when she was six years old. She moved to Los Angeles at age eleven and quickly began booking theater, film, and television roles. She was a contestant in the 2009 Miss California Teen USA pageant. She and her three younger sisters, Mallory, Mahrynn, and Marissa, were born into a family from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She and actor Jon Tenney both appeared on the TV series Major Crimes in 2013.
